Course Overview
Gravedigging is a critical and sensitive task that plays a crucial role in the funeral industry and cemetery management. The trade is an overlooked but vital aspect of the funeral industry.
This course will add to the knowledge and skills already held by the candidates but is also designed to be delivered to somebody just entering the funeral industry.
It will provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles, techniques, and considerations involved in the practice of gravedigging.
The course will equip the candidate with the knowledge and skills necessary to approach gravedigging safely, shoring the grave safely, handling of remains respectfully, and with dignity.
